Scientists have discovered an ocean about 700 kilometres below the Earth's surface.
There is a thought that during the flood in Noah's time, that it rained very much and the whole earth was flooded suddenly. However, if we read the portion in the Bible we see a very different and cataclysmic picture. Not only did the floodgates of the sky open but fountains that were located in the great deep burst open as well. Now you can imagine the scene. Water suddenly poured from the sky below and water also burst forth from the oceans below all over the earth. It is important to note that the water that has been discovered recently below the earth's surface by scientists is a whopping 1-3 times the size of all the Earth's oceans. I don't think we can even fathom this amount of water. All the world's oceans are so vast and almost seemingly infinite with water. Now we are told that below the surface of the Earth are oceans three times bigger than on the surface.

Now it came about after the seven days, that the waters of the flood came upon the earth. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened. The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights.

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month, on that same day all the fountains of the great deep [subterranean waters] burst open, and the windows and floodgates of the heavens were opened. (Genesis 7:11; AMP)
It is amazing how this is recorded in Genesis, written approximately 1400 years before Christ was born [1400 BC] - about 3400 years ago! Scientists have only just discovered this recently and confirm something a fact that was recorded in the Bible thousands of years ago.
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

The above portion of Scripture was spoken by the Lord Jesus. He affirms the flood of Noah here and He uses the flood that happened in Noah's time as a foreshadowing of a greater judgment that will come upon the whole earth in the future at His coming at the end of this age.
Repent of your sins and believe into Jesus while you still can. The Lord Jesus came to save you from your sins and to bring you close to Him that you could come to know your Creator and walk with Him and have eternal life in Him. For those who have a relationship with Jesus, be strengthened and encouraged! Determine with your will (make a decision) to be filled with the word of God - that Christ's word dwell in you richly. Be burning hot for the Lord Jesus. Lukewarmness does not make the cut (Rev. 3:16). A fly cannot land on a hot stove. Be burning for Jesus!
