The Revelation of the Triune God | The Trinity | Father, Son and Holy Spirit

YAHWEH—Father, Son, Holy Spirit

Before we begin, please read the following Scriptures from God's holy word, the Bible. Note that whenever you read "LORD" (all in capitals) in the Old Testament, in that place is the Holy and Sacred name of the God of Israel - YHWH or YaHWeH. His name looks like this in Hebrew:

Beautiful isn't it! So, remember when you read in your Bible "LORD", it actually is YHWH or YAHWEH (Read from right to left).

Jesus is God

Please read this article first if you have not read it before continuing. It is extremely important that you first see that Jesus is God - Jesus is Yahweh, before you continue reading: Jesus is God

The Triune God Revealed

To reveal the Triune God (Trinity), it is imperative that we first see that Jesus is God. I tell you a mystery. It is the only Begotten Son who is God that declares Yahweh - He is the Word of God (John 1:1, 14; Rev 19:13) and is the image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15). It is only Jesus, who is God, that can reveal Yahweh to us, who is the Triune God.

In light of the above pay attention to these Scriptures:

No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

— John 1:18

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

— Luke 10:25-27

Just take the time to notice something very important in the above verse. The Son fully knows the Father. We so easily glide over these verses without seeing the enormity of what is being said by Jesus. Can I ask you the following, dear reader? Can you say that you fully know God the Father? None of us can say that - not even an angel in heaven can say that - Yet my Jesus, the Only Begotten Son says that He fully knows the Father. It is a bold statement. He just claimed that He fully knows God. Now it can only be God that can fully know Himself. No mere creation can ever claim to know God fully.

The next part I want to point your attention to is that there is a sort of “loophole” in that someone can know the Father but how? Note: Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Wow! It is the Son that can reveal the Father to the one whom Jesus wills to reveal Him. Note this. We would have no clue on who God is if it was not for the Son revealing the Father. There are many levels here but I will leave that for now. Beloved, if there is no Son, there is no Father and Holy Spirit. If you reject the Son of God, you reject both the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

— John 14:6

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?...

— John 14:7-9

It is only when we see Jesus, we see the Father and the Holy Spirit. When we behold Jesus, the Son, He reveals the Triune God. You will see that when you examine Scripture more closely. I will touch more on this at the baptism of Jesus in a section below. Look out for this when you are reading [3-1].

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds

— Hebrews 1:1-2

If I want to hear what the Triune God is speaking, I need to listen very carefully to what the Son, Jesus, is speaking. When I hear and receive and keep the words of the Son, I hear and receive and keep the words of the Triune God.

Meaning of Triune God or Trinity

Tri = 3 and une = 1. Three-one. Not even Three in One like some hymns and pastors declare. He is the Three-One God. The Triune God is the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. All Three of the Divine Trinity are co-equal and co-eternal - distinct but not separate.

God is a community in Himself. Father, Son and Holy Spirit – eternally co-existing and co-equal. The Bible says that God is love but how could He be love if He was not a community in Himself – or Triune. For something to be called love, it needs to love something. So if God was only one and not 3-1 who would He love before heaven and earth would be created? How could He be love? And if He started to love when we rocked up on the scene then He changed, and His word clearly tells us that He is unchanging and perfect. So who did He love then? Within the Triune God, love has been flowing eternally between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Father loves the Son, the Son loves the Father, the Holy Spirit loves the Son etc...

It was God’s desire to have a family – the sons of God – made in His image and likeness. That is you and I. It is His will and good pleasure to include us, the church, His Bride, in this eternal, burning and divine love that has always been flowing within the Divine Trinity.

that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. — John 17:21-23

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

— Matthew 28:19-20

Notice in the above Scripture, that believers are baptised into one Name but Three Persons are mentioned. Now I ask you could the Lord Jesus not have just said baptise them into the name of the Father? But He did not. He purposely said we are to baptise those that choose to be followers of Jesus into one name (Yahweh), the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The Lord already is revealing the Triune God here.

Now you may ask how did Christians come up with the Trinity? The Triune God reveals Himself as Three-one in His word. Note that this revelation is not something that you must understand or grasp fully to appreciate and receive from God. What do I mean? Well, when you believed into Jesus, the Holy Spirit was breathed into you, after you were washed by the eternal Blood of Christ, your sins were forgiven. In that moment God came to live inside of you - your nature changed as you were born from above, born of God (John 1:12-13) and now Jesus lives in you (Gal. 2:20). But you did not have to understand how the Trinity works or fully grasp the revelation of the Triune God to benefit from His great salvation in Jesus.

It is just like you eating a delicious breakfast in the morning. It was tasty and you received all the nutrients automatically and spontaneously into your body. By you knowing or not knowing the chemical compounds and vitamin content in the breakfast will not hinder your enjoyment and benefit of the meal. Your taste buds enjoyed the flavours of the food and your cells benefited from those nutrients of that delicious breakfast regardless of your understanding. The Triune God is a reality in Himself - He is the way, the truth and the life. There is nothing on this earth or example in our physical life or any earthly language which can adequately encapsulate the Triune God. Know this first as we journey to begin to see the Triune God of Israel - The Great I AM that spoke to Moses (Exo 3:14; John 8:58).

The Watermelon Example

This is only an example. Do not stretch this picture too far as all examples and pictures are inadequate to fully explain the Triune God. This watermelon example does help with some understanding.

The whole watermelon - Father. But I cannot eat the watermelon yet. It is inaccessibe for my mouth.

Then a slice the watermelon up into slices - Son. I can now take bites easier out of the watermelon slices. Though it is in slices, is it not watermelon? Of course it is.

I go a step further, and as I chew the watermelon slice, the extract of the watermelon comes out. I now drink watermelon juice - Spirit. Again, is the watermelon juice not watermelon? Of course it is!

Whole watermelon is watermelon

Watermelon slices is watermelon

Watermelon juice is watermelon

Father is Yahweh

Son is Yahweh

Holy Spirit is Yahweh

Son of Man comes up to Ancient of Days

And behold, with the clouds of heaven

One like a Son of Man was coming,

And He came up to the Ancient of Days

And was presented before Him.

— Daniel 7:13

Notice the Two of the Divine Trinity in the above passage of Scripture. (1) The Son comes up to (2) the Ancient of Days. By context we can see that the Son of God is presenting Himself before the Father. Now we know that the Son of Man, Jesus, is God. Daniel has this amazing vision of seeing the Son of Man presenting Himself to the Ancient of Days. Question… Is Jesus presenting Himself to Himself? It cannot be. So, we can see an eternal coexistence here.

The same when Jesus is on the cross… My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me. Jesus is not crying out to Himself. He is crying out to the Father.

The Alpha and Omega, Jesus, sitting on the throne

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

— Revelation 21:5-8

Note that the Lord Jesus is sitting on the throne. Calling Himself the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

— Revelation 22:1

Wait a minute… Do you see what happened? We see the throne (singular) but it is the throne of God and of the Lamb. How many thrones are there saints? Yes, one throne but we see there are Two mentioned here that are on this throne. It is the one throne of God and the Lamb. In other words the throne of the Father and of the Son. Okay but that is Two of the Divine Trinity. Where is the Third? Let me help you.

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”  But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

— John 7:37-39

The rivers of living water that will flow from the heart of those that believe in Jesus is the Holy Spirit. This connection is very important. Let us go back to Revelation 22:1:

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

— Revelation 22:1

Do you see the Blessed Holy Spirit - The Third of the Divine Trinity? The Holy Spirit is proceeding from the throne as a river of water of life. Now imagine the scene. We are seeing this glorious picture. A throne in heaven - But (1) the Father and (2) the Son are upon the throne. And out from this glorious throne, is flowing (3) a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal. There in this glorious scene we see the Triune God fully manifested and revealed.

Now on the topic of the one throne, we can see something similar in the Old Testament but not as clear as John saw it in Revelation but it is there.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.  Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.  And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried  out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.”

— Isaiah 6:1-5

Here Isaiah has a glorious vision where he sees the Lord sitting on a throne. He goes on to say that this one on the throne is Yahweh of hosts (YHWH), the God of Israel.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?”

— Isaiah 6:8

Now He hears the voice of Yahweh and Yahweh says whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? Whom shall I (singular) send, and who will go for Us (plural)? Here the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit (Us) is speaking from the throne. Remember one throne but Us is speaking from the one throne. The next section is crucial. More to see.

The Holy Spirit is God

And when they did not agree with one another, they began leaving after Paul had spoken one parting word, “The Holy Spirit rightly spoke through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers, saying, ‘Go to this people and say, “You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; And you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive; For the heart of this people has become dull, And with their ears they scarcely hear, And they have closed their eyes; Otherwise they might see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart and return, And I would heal them.”’

— Acts 28:25-27

We just read that it was Yahweh of hosts that spoke to Isaiah in the previous section. But now we see that Paul speaks something profound. Paul tells us that it was the Holy Spirit that spoke through Isaiah. Let us look at the Scripture again.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’

— Isaiah 6:8-9

So, who spoke saints? Paul says it was the Holy Spirit that spoke through Isaiah and Isaiah tells us that it was the voice of Yahweh that he heard. Put the two together. The Holy Spirit is God. Another Heresy of the JWs and other cults is being exposed. They say that He is a force but not a Person. Dear saints, a force does not speak. It is a Person that speaks and Isaiah clearly tells us that this Person that was speaking to him was God sitting on the throne. Then Paul, under the inspiration of the Spirit, reveals in Acts 28 that it was the Holy Spirit that was speaking and saying, “Go to this people and say, “You will keep on hearing, but will not understand; And you will keep on seeing, but will not perceive…”

The point is that whether we say God was speaking or the Holy Spirit was speaking, it is one and the same thing. Because the Holy Spirit is God (Yahweh), we can indeed say that Isaiah heard the voice of Yahweh, and that voice that Isaiah heard was the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

— 2 Corinthians 3:17-18

“Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. 32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

— Matthew 12:31-32

Blasphemy can only be committed against God. If the Holy Spirit is not God, then it would not be blasphemy to speak against Him. But because the Holy Spirit is God, if you speak against Him, you commit blasphemy.

HalleluYah! Praise the Triune God! Praise the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Triune God Manifested

Baptise them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

— Matthew 28:19

Now we have referred to the above verse in the beginning of this article but I want to show you something about the oneness of the Triune God. He truly is one (Deut. 6:4; John 10:30). Do NOT think that He is three Gods for one moment. That is a heresy and wrong. So we saw that we baptise those that choose to follow Jesus into one name, Father and Son and Holy Spirit. But if Jesus is God, surely I could just baptise someone into the name of Jesus Christ and since He is Yahweh, I am baptising that believer into the name of the Triune God anyway, for the LORD is one. Do we see this happen in Scripture?

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

— Acts 2:38

We went from Name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit to Jesus Christ in Acts.

If I baptise someone into the Almighty name of Jesus Christ, because Jesus is Yahweh, I baptise that person into Yahweh… And thus, I have baptised you into the One Name, which is above all names, the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

— John 14:23

Why would Jesus say We will come to him and make Our home with him?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 Then God said [the Word of God], “Let there be light”; and there was light.

— Genesis 1:1-3

In the above, we see the entire Triune God involved in creation. The Spirit of God is brooding / hovering over the waters, then the Father speaks, which is the Word of God. Who is the Word of God? Let us see:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

— John 1:1-3

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

— John 14:21

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

— Revelation 19:11-13

It is clear that the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, our God and our Saviour is the Word of God.

Note in the following Scripture, It says then God said (singular), Let Us (plural) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness...

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

— Genesis 1:26

Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.

— Genesis 11:7-9

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion / fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. — 2 Corinthians 13:14

This prayer invokes The Divine Trinity. The grace of Christ, Love of God and fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Who is Paul praying to? He is praying to Yahweh but He invokes Three Persons.

Whose Blood?

Read the following Scripture and tell me whose blood is it?

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

— Acts 20:28

Whose blood is it?... It is God's blood. The Precious Blood of Jesus Christ the Lord - shed for the sins of the world - so that God's wrath would passover (Exodus 12:1-14; John 1:29) those that believe into the name of Jesus so that would be born of God and called the sons of God (John 1:12-13; Romans 8:14-17, 19). It is only the eternal Blood, the Blood of Christ that can wipe out and remove all of the sins of man from the dawn of time to the end of this age. And how is His blood eternal, because Jesus, the Son of God is eternal. His life is in His Blood – that is why it is so powerful in spiritual warfare.

Offered Himself through the Eternal Spirit

how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?.

— Hebrews 9:14

The Spirit of God brooded over the waters and this Spirit of God speaks. We know it is the Spirit that spoke through the prophets, yet Peter says that was the Spirit of Christ. So, who was it? Was it the Spirit of Christ or the Holy Spirit? See how we unknowingly divide up the Trinity. We can say that it was the Spirit of Christ speaking and we can say that it was the Holy Spirit speaking and we can say that it was the Spirit of the Father speaking.

But we must be careful because although the Triune God is not separate, He is distinct. The Father sent the Son to be crucified. The Father chose us in the Beloved who is Jesus Christ through the sanctifying of the Holy Spirit. So even in God’s choosing us, the entire Triune God is involved. The same happened when the Son was baptised on earth at the start of His earthly ministry in Matthew chapter 3. We see the Son who is the Anointed One (Meaning of Christ), but who is doing the anointing? It is the Father that anoints the Son. But with what anointing substance is the Father anointing the Son with? The Holy Spirit. The whole Trinity is involved in the baptism of our Lord Jesus.

What people do not realise is that when Jesus was being baptised He was actually being anointed as the King of Israel just like they would anoint the kings in the Old Testament but there is a fundamental difference. A priest would anoint the king who God chose for Israel but here, God the Father Himself is anointing the Son as King with the anointing oil not merely of olives as in the OT but with the Holy Spirit Himself coming upon Jesus, descending as a dove.

Pay attention to the next Scriptures. I pray that the Holy Spirit opens your eyes right now to see this glorious revelation, in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Therefore God, your God has anointed you

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; 3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power…

— Hebrews 1:1-3

But to the Son He [The Father] says:

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;

A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;

Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You

With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.”

10 And:

You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,

And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

— Hebrews 1:8-10 (cf. Psalm 102:24-25)

I said, “O my God,

Do not take me away in the midst of my days;

Your years are throughout all generations.

25 Of old You laid the foundation of the earth,

And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

— Psalm 102:24-25

Did we just read correctly? What is that? These Scriptures cannot be if there is no Trinity. But of the Son He says. So who is speaking? The Father is speaking. Then the Father refers to the Son as God and says your God has anointed you. Woah!

Well, if the Father is God, and the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God - of course the Father can call the Son, God. The Son can say of the Holy Spirit that if you curse Him, you are committing blasphemy. Are you seeing it more clearly beloved of the Lord?

Who raised Jesus from the dead?

So, we know that God raised Jesus from the dead, right?

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

— Galatians 2:20

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

— Romans 8:11

Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

— John 2:19

“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

— John 10:17-18

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

— John 11:25

So, who raised Jesus from the dead? The entire Triune God – the Trinity was involved in His resurrection.

Was it the Father? Yes

Was it the Son? Yes

Was it the Holy Spirit? Yes

Was it Yahweh? Yes

Who lives in you—The Triune God

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

— Galatians 2:20

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

— Colossians 1:27

If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you

— John 14:15-18

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body [g]and in your spirit, which are God’s.

— 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

— John 7:37-39

But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; 20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

— Matthew 10:19-20

By this we know that we abide in Him [God], and He [God] in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

— 1 John 4:13-14

So, who lives and reigns in you dear brothers and sisters? Yahweh, the Eternal God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—The Triune God of Israel.

Knowing Jesus, Knowing God

[3-1]

Okay now back to the baptism of Jesus our Lord in Matthew chapter 3. I mentioned above that I will mention something in His baptism which we can take as a principle. Notice that it is only when Jesus is on the scene, is when we hear the voice of the Father and see the Holy Spirit descend as a dove.

Look at the mount of transfiguration. We see Jesus and then hear the Father’s voice. The Triune God can only be made real to us when we behold Jesus.

Another two settings. Jesus says that the Spirit of your Father will speak in you when you are delivered but I am going to send you  another comforter, the Holy Spirit and He will teach you.

What is my point in showing you this profound truth and revelation? Beloved, just behold Jesus. Behold Him! Look at Him from as many angles as you can. AS you behold Him, God becomes very real to you. You will hear the Father’s voice and see the Holy Spirit move. It is the Son that reveals Triune God to us. Do not seek knowledge or theories - Just seek Jesus! Seek to gain Him above all else! Those that keep knocking will have the door opened unto them. Those that seek Him will all their heart - having no reservation within them - will find Him. And then you will see that you have found all things.

At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

— John 14:20-21

If you truly love Jesus, you will honour His word and keep it and apply it in your life. And it is when you do this that Jesus will manifest Himself to you. And when He manifests Himself to you, you will see the Father and the Holy Spirit. Look at what Jesus says after Judas says something.

Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.  He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

— John 14:22-24

The Triune God will come to and make His home with you when you choose Him and keep His word. “We will come to him and make Our home with him”. Pay attention to the plurals used in this phrase. Now when the Triune God has come to you and made His home with you, seeing Him move in your life will be a normal and everyday experience.

People do not see Him move in their lives the way they would like to is because they are not serious or seeking enough. They are merely curious. Dear saints our God is not a court jester that entertains curiosity - He is not here for our entertainment. This I can tell you that when you truly hunger and thirst for Him - putting His word above all else in your life, causing you the loss of all things, no compromise, you will gain eternity Himself. Is He worth it? That is the decision that you need to make. Count the cost beloved. Saints… Is He not worth it? How could we be so deceived with our little reservations here and there. He sees them and thus those things that hold us back, whether it be hidden sin, compromise, apathy, lukewarmness, etc. keep us from seeing the Triune God move mightily and powerfully in our lives.

Bottom Line

If I give glory and honour and praise to Jesus Christ my Lord, I am giving honour, glory and praise to the entire Triune God. By praising the Son, we praise the Triune God, we praise Yahweh. If I pray to the Lord Jesus in prayer, I pray to Yahweh. If I ask the Holy Spirit something, I am asking Yahweh something. When I call on Abba my Father, my Daddy, I call on Yahweh my Father,

Conversely, if one dishonours the Son of God, they automatically dishonour the Father and the Holy Spirit. He is One dear saints - Yahweh is One. Side step Jesus and you sidestep the Triune God. I have heard that people want to worship the Father but do not care about the Son - they disregard the Son. Of course these people are not saved and have been deceived and are perishing. For those that are born of God - born of water and the Spirit (John 3:5), the Holy Spirit in them will gladly honour and praise Jesus Christ. This is why Islam, hinduism, buddhism and the many other are false religions. For they all dishonour the Son of God, who is Yahweh. It is not enough to call Him a mere prophet sent by God or a great teacher. You dishonour the Son by refusing to worship Him and in so doing you dishonour the Triune God.

Hear this carefully and it is a word for our time. The spirit that refuses to confess that Jesus Christ is God, that Jesus Christ is Yahweh is the spirit of antichrist. For the antichrist seeks to be God. Antichrist seeks to take the place of the Lord Jesus Christ in the hearts of the men that are made in the image of Yahweh (Gen. 1:26) and those that continue in their disobedience toward the Son of God, without repenting will taste the second death and wrath of God abides upon them.

For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.  For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,  that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

— John 5:21-23

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

— John 3:36

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.  By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,  and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

— 1 John 4:1-3

I will say it again, beloved. If there is any spirit, religion, or person that does NOT confess that God has come in the flesh, who is Jesus Christ, is not of God and is of the spirit of antichrist.

Does Islam claim that Jesus is Almighty God? No !

- spirit of antichrist

Does buddhism claim that Jesus is Almighty God? No!

- spirit of antichrist

Do Jehovah Witnesses claim that Jesus is Almighty God? No!

- spirit of antichrist

Does hinduism claim that Jesus is Almighty God? No!

- spirit of antichrist

The world says that there are many ways to God. Jesus who is Yahweh said that He is the only way, the only truth and the only life. Narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and few find it. Broad is the way that leads to the lake of fire and many find it.

Practical Application

He who hates his brother is not of God. God is one and so is His Body one and we are members of one another. If I slander you, a member of Christ, who am I actually slandering?

That brother is one with Christ and I am one with Christ. It is a fact that we are one. And because we are in the God who is love and the God who is love is in us, I spontaneously will love my brother.

And if you don’t love your brother, John makes the case, well… is the God who is love truly in you? For how can another member of the same Body hate another member of that same Body?

Should we be divided as a church and backbite and slander and gossip about one another, or should we be one. Our God is one and thus to be His image and representation on this earth, we should be one.

Do you see why satan attacks the oneness amongst the members of the church by stirring the flesh and deceiving us into NOT seeing one another as members of Christ. God will not back or support what is not representing Him and His kingdom on this earth. Psalm 133. If we truly saw one another as members of Christ – fear will come upon us regarding how we deal with one another and treat one another.

Look at what Jesus spoke in Acts 9 to Saul. Why are you persecuting Me? Who was Saul persecuting? Followers of Jesus.

We were made in the image of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit – Community. It is why it is not good for man to be alone. We thrive in community for we were made in the image of community and Divine Love. And here we have the church – community – one another.

The enemy knows this so he sets up false communities which will never satisfy true community in the church of Jesus. Why do people want to support a rugby team and form a community – it is because people are hard-wired for community.

20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

— 1 John 4:20-21

And we are back full circle at the two great commandments. If you love God with all your, heart, soul and imagination – you will love your brother and your neighbour (believers and unbelievers) – and so you resemble your Father in heaven.

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

— Matthew 22:37-40

Because we are made in the image of Yahweh—the Triune God, the Trinity – when we see Him as He is revealed in His word, whatever is wrong in us will get fixed supernaturally. As we behold our glorious God, we will reflect Him (2 Cor. 3:18). The devil has tried very hard to contort and distort how God is perceived in this world – and that is why men and women are full of problems and sin and death.

It is up to us to let the light of Christ shine bright for all men to see… As we behold Him, we beam Him to a world that does not know Him but can come to know Him as we magnify Him through our lives and shine Him out for all to see. We have been appointed for this – for such a time as this. Arise and shine precious saints in Jesus.
