The love of God
His forgiveness - the cup which He drank for us
The love of God - His forgiveness - the cup which He drank for us
In this message we look at the love that God has for man. God's love is often misunderstood and taken out of context. If God is love, how then can people perish (John 3:16)? The deep significance of the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ is revealed in this teaching. He does love you with an eternal love (Jer. 31:3), to whomever may be reading this BUT you must be born again by receiving His life to be considered His child (John 1:12-13). Just as your father in the flesh is your father because you came forth from him - in the same way, we can call God our Father only when the Spirit of His Son Jesus Christ enters into us. Only when His Spirit enters into you, are you born again and are called a child of God. This came at the highest price. The precious blood of Christ was shed for you so that you can receive eternal life.

Isaiah 53:7-10
7. He was oppressed, and it was He who was afflicted, / Yet He did not open His mouth; / Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter / And like a sheep that is dumb before its shearers, / So He did not open His mouth. 8. By oppression and by judgment He was taken away; / And as for His generation, who among them had the thought / That He was cut off out of the land of the living / For the transgression of my people to whom the stroke was due? 9. And they assigned His grave with the wicked, / But with a rich man in His death, / Although He had done no violence, / Nor was there any deceit in His mouth. 10. But Jehovah was pleased to crush Him, to afflict Him with grief. / When He makes Himself an offering for sin, / He will see a seed, He will extend His days, / And the pleasure of Jehovah will prosper in His hand.
